caramelized brussel sprouts

I love anything caramelized in a pan. Know what else I love? A quick recipe.

baby brussel sprouts slice in half (don't ask me how much - just put however much you want)
1 chopped onion
garlic powder
olive oil
a handful of dried raisins
salt + pepper

Heat a glug (shoutout to Jamie Oliver for this useful term) of olive oil in a medium/large pan.
Once the oil is hot, add the onions and brussel sprouts. Leave the heat on high for 2 minutes, then lower it to...low!
Add a pinch of thyme, of garlic powder, of salt and pepper.
Keep moving the contents of the pan around with a wooden spoon to make sure all the sprouts are cooking. This should take around 10-15 minutes.
When the sprouts are caramelized on their flat side, turn the heat off and sprinkle those sweet raisins!

Serve with toast or with whatever floats your boat.
